This is partly because of how tall they are, and also how the shoulder straps are set somewhat low in the pack, at a full inch lower (when measuring the distance from where the hip belt attaches to where the shoulder strap is sewn in) than other packs I’ve got, and it feels a little weird to have the “hip belt” fit so high up
